Managing Principal
The Managing Principal of MR Service&Consult LLC - Markus Rimmele has a long history in the manufacturing industry and made through several European Machine Builders his way up from a Mechatronic Technician to Controls Engineer, Project Manager and a Managing Director focusing on serving the Manufacturing Industry through the entire product life cycle. He did hands on projects on four continents and 30 different countries with assembly, installation, commissioning, production support, break& fix, preventive maintenance and modification and upgrade projects for the Textile, Automotive, Photovoltaics, Medical Devices, Warehouse Automation and Packaging Industries.
He founded MR Service& Consult LLC in Jan 2021 as a boutique consultancy in the area of process improvement, digitalization and reliability projects focusing on the manufacturing industry.

Projected AR is a technology , which project user instructions onto the work bench in front of the operator and gives step by step assembly instructions. In parallel, a vision system verifies every move and is able to do quality control while assembly. Topics like paper work instructions and long operator training are not needed anymore, when using projected AR worker assistant systems.

Fully automated manufacturing lines generate a lot of data. In a medical device factory, just one manufacturing module has about 155,000 variables in the PLC.
Our task was to sort and normalize the essential tags which are necessary to transmit into a on premise cloud system for the use case OEE improvement and predictive maintenance
